Kendriya Vidyalaya No 4 Varanasi came into existence on 8th April 2003. It is a civil sector and single section Vidyalaya.
The Vidyalaya is presently running into two temporary premises in the BLW Campus: Primary Section in Narmada School Building and Secondary Section in Shipra School Building.
